For Samsung GALAXY series running Android 5.1.1, there are known USB device access issues. Updating to Android 5.1.1 on your GALAXY device may render this app non-functional.

Devices equipped with CPUs/SOCs manufactured by MediaTek, Rockchip, and Allwinner might encounter challenges with USB host functions, potentially leading to freezing or restarts. Certain devices have USB current limitations and sensitivity, recommending the use of a self-powered USB hub for stable application performance.

• No root access or custom ROM is required, even on Android 4.4/5.0 devices. Installation is straightforward; all you need is a UVC webcam and an OTG cable.
• To eliminate ads, consider upgrading to the paid version after verifying the app's operation with the free version.

If the preview fails to start with specific camera and resolution combinations, restart the preview using the ON/OFF button.

Features:

• Movie capturing: Save image frames as MP4 files in the Movies/UsbWebCamera directory on external storage. The app limits recording durations to 3 minutes; for longer recordings, consider the unlimited paid version.
• Still image capturing: Save images as png files in the DCIM/UsbWebCamera directory by pressing the capture button.
• Interval capturing: Initiate interval capturing by long-pressing the capture button.
• Mirror display: Flip the preview image horizontally, vertically, or both.
• Limit FPS: Control maximum FPS to reduce battery consumption.
• Preview quality control: Adjust rendering for battery optimization.
• Screen dimming: Dim the screen to save battery.
• Cross-line viewfinder: Enabled for preview purposes only
• Screen orientation: Choose between device rotation or fixed orientation.
• Image adjustments: Customize brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, gamma, gain, and white balance if supported by the camera.

Note:

• Disconnect your webcam when not in use to save battery power.
• For higher power consumption webcams, consider using a self-powered USB hub.
• The app doesn't support multiple camera previews simultaneously; one camera can be used at a time via a USB hub.

About permissions:

• Write access to external storage is used to save images and movies.
• Network access is required for displaying ads.
• Vibration permission enables feedback during interval capturing initiation.
• Permissions for audio recording are utilized.
